I will be making a a dynamic scheduling and management web system.
The problem we are trying to solve is providing an application built to specifically cater elderly/disabled – there aren’t any specific organisation tool aimed for this particular group. The system will inspired through influence of Artificial intelligence on project management software.
System functionality
- This dynamic web application will be displayable on mobile and desktop. It will contain:
- - Scheduling page: this will allow users/teams to plan events, meetings
for day/week/month using an AI-bot
- - Planner page: this will allow users to create planners for certain
events/programmes/days
- - Tasks page: individuals will be able to create their own tasks lists and
share their task lists with other groups/users
- - Management captivity: this page will reassure users the capability of
the application as they use it, it will monitor their productivity and ability
of users/groups to meet goals/targets which will be presented in beautiful
charts
- The system will be linked to a database which will store the user’s details and control which groups they are associated with.
Some of the functional requirements include:
- - Users being able to register in order to login and use the application
with their personalised profiles/ Users will be able to log out
- - Create teams and groups by linking individuals with each other/users can
join more than one group (based on the day the person is volunteering)
- - Users can create tasks and lists for themselves and other users
- - Users can create planners for events and for daily timetable etc
Some of the Non functional requirements include:
- - Performance: the system must be fast
- - Scalability: system must be able to support increase in number of users and ensure resources being used do not slow down our overall application
- - Security: connection of web application must be secure via HTTPs and user data must be encrypted
- - Platform: the application must run on popular browsers (Google chrome, edge etc)
